Alzheimer’s Support Group

Tuscan Gardens® is excited to announce our Alzheimer’s Support Group – a monthly meeting designed just for caregivers to share their stories, concerns, celebrations, and advice.

Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia is a journey no one should have to take alone. In times of trials and triumphs, caregivers need the support of a loving community who understands their perspective.

Who should attend this support group?

Anyone who is a dementia caregiver is welcome to attend. This includes families and friends of the loved one. Complimentary respite care will be available for loved ones during these meetings.

What is this support group about?

Led by our Memory Care Director, a certified dementia expert, this support group is for caregivers/spouses of loved ones with dementia. As a group, we encourage everyone to talk about their specific situation as a caregiver, share advice, ideas, and resources – all with the reassurance that they are not alone in this journey.

We also educate the group on dementia: the signs and what to expect.

What can you expect after attending this support group?

Our first meeting last month was a great success. Everyone felt positive and they look forward to our next support group meeting. They left feeling informed and knowing that they are not alone in this journey.

Join us 3rd Thursday of every month for an afternoon of connection and support, and experience how we can make your caregiving journey easier to navigate.
